Full or Part-Time Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Associate Harbor Counseling is looking for a full or part-time LCMHC, LMFT, or LCSW (or Associate) to join our dynamic, fun, and collaborative team.We are seeking a contracted role as a clinical therapist who will provide outpatient individual and/or group therapy. At Harbor Counseling, our goal is to provide counseling services to children, adolescents, adults, couples and families from diverse backgrounds and varying socio-economic contexts. We believe in providing our community with a warm and welcoming setting to navigate the challenges of life, serving our clients with care and compassion. Requirements:
Aligned with Harbor Counseling’s vision, mission and values
Master's Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work or a related field
Able to pass criminal background check
Active full or associate professional licensure in the state of North Carolina
Must hold liability/malpractice insurance
Maintain accurate and timely clinical records
Provide biopsychosocial evaluations/problem identification, crisis interventions, and individual, group, and/or family therapy to clients
Evening/weekend availability is a plus!
Additional Skills:
Be able to work independently and autonomously
Have at least one niche market for counseling services (i.e., children, teens, trauma, anxiety, grief, disordered eating, etc)
Proficiency in methods of psychotherapy
Familiarity with available community resources
Ability to work well within a team
Effective written and verbal communication skills
