We are seeking a friendly and self- motivated, highly organized office manager to support our growing team. In this role, you will work at our front desk and assist our clients and providers. Your primary job duties will include greeting and checking in clients, answering phones/emails, collecting client co-pays and payments, processing paperwork, filing insurance claims, maintaining client accounts, maintaining website and social media platforms, and scheduling appointments. You will also help keep our work areas clean and organized and ensure our office provides a welcoming environment for our clients. Requirements:

People are required to wear face coverings while out in public when physical distancing of 6 feet is not possible.) At this time, we will continue offering Teletherapy services for those who would prefer to use this feature as opposed to attending appointments in our office. We will be asking clients attending “in-office” appointments to complete our COVID Screener prior to attending their appointment. Also, masks will be required in our lobby but may be removed during your session if desired.

Although telehealth is quickly becoming the required method of service delivery during this uncertain time, it is important to know the benefits and limitations. It is also important to know that telehealth is not the best fit for everyone, and that is OK! The Harbor Counseling Team would like to provide another update regarding the new order issued by Governor Roy Cooper starting Monday at 5pm. At this time, we will continue offering Teletherapy services for those who would prefer to use this feature as opposed to attending appointments in our office. If you are an existing client and would like to schedule a Teletherapy session or change your current appointment to such, please contact our office.
The process will be as follows:
Copays/Payment for services will be taken via phone prior to the start of the Teletherapy session. For those who wish to keep their appointments at our physical location, please know that our team continues to do everything possible to maintain a clean and sanitized environment. We know that there’s widespread concern in our community about the Coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19), and we want you to know that your health is our top priority at Harbor Counseling.
We want you to know that during this time Harbor Counseling is committed to supporting our clients. Our office will continue its usual business hours at this time. We will continue to reassess, post any updates and outreach our clients if this changes. We also want you to know that we have taken steps to help maintain a clean and safe environment in our office. With the increasing uncertainty and growing number of infected individuals around the world, we encourage you to take responsibility for yourself and your family. Though the risk remains low, it’s important to take a proactive approach to minimize exposure. Please refer to the CDC’s dedicated 2019-ncov website for additional information, and maintain awareness by checking the official communications from the Centers for Disease Control and World Health Organization. This is a free event open to the public for expecting parents, new parents, and caregivers to help learn how to safely care for their babies and learn the most up-to-date practices. There will be numerous stations set up to learn different topics at each place.
